EXHIBITION “THE GREAT WAR. ITALY AND THE EAST”
The exhibition, inaugurated on the 6th April at 4,30 p.m., will be open to public from April 7, 2017 to July 6, 2017.
The exhibition is a contribution to the celebration for the centenary of the First World War, and it’s about the Italian Politics in Mediterranean from the Libia’s War to 1923 and the relationship between the great powers for the division of the Ottoman Empire, the role of Greece and the Eastern population: Kurdish, Syrians, Armenian, Arabics, Turkish, other population, with their religions and habits, had fascinated many generations of travellers.
The exhibition, exalted by a special preparation of two installation realized by two great contemporary artists, Michelangelo Pistoletto and Mimmo Paladino, exposes other works of art created by notorious artists.
Opening hours: from Mondays to Fridays – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

We communicate that from May 2, 2017 the Bibliographical Information Service will be open to the public from Mondays to Fridays from 9,30 a.m. to 6,45 p.m.
FROM MARCH 30, 2017: “THE WAR ON THE BOOKS. THE FIRST WORLD WAR IN THE BIBLIOGRAPHY AND IN THE SOURCES OF THE CENTRAL STATE ARCHIVE”
From the 30th March will be open the exhibition “The War on the books. The First World War in the bibliography and in the sources of the Central State Archive” by Elisabetta Orsolini, Antonio D’Antino Settevendemmie, Margherita Martelli.
The opening hours are the same of the Reading Room:
